In the past I wrote a newsletter entitled “Gloria is Retiring”.
About the retirement of my old scrub brush – Gloria – and the new replacement, Ethel.
The girls are back in stock. Remember someone has to admire your singing as you cook!
But there is problem – two of the girls only have one arm.
So being a store that strongly supports equal right and inclusion of all, we are still giving these girls an opportunity to do the job for you like their two armed compatriots. Who knows they may do a better job!
Have you noticed there are no sexy guy scrub brushes? Hmmm.
These silicone roasting racks are also back in stock. They were a big hit last time we had them, as they are dishwasher and BBQ safe.
See you at Scoop N’ Weigh: The Candy Store for Grown Ups!
P.S. Jar keys are back in stock. I used mine this weekend. I had a jar of olives with a lid that refused to budge and I knew what to do. I whipped out my jar key and broke the seal between the lid and jar. I loved the look on my friend (a male) who thought I was going to plead the weak woman thing and ask him to open it. Strong resourceful women rule!
P.P.S. There are still two wooden barrels and two white garbage pails. Someone bought two garbage cans for their wine making!
Next on the chopping block are these storage cubes. They are about 25″ x 28″ with a 3″ x 4″ grid of little compartments. They are not heavy duty construction, but are good for a place to stuff things, like mitts, hats and scarfs. Or to show small things off.
